backtrack 5 to ARM Backtrack 5 on N900

2:07 PM |

For those who have not heard, BackTrack 5 will be released in 5 days. So far, we have time and the whole team is excited about the release. Day 10 will be a busy day for us, so we thought we'd start putting some information about BackTrack 5 before time - to reduce our load on the day of departure.

We know that there are probably many questions about the BackTrack, to answer some of your questions here are some interesting points:

  • Our liberation will begin on May 10 (no bugs us about the time zone), and first of all be available for download through torrents. This is to reduce the massive burden of our mirrors a few hours.
  • As time goes on release, then allow direct downloads from our mirrors.
  • We KDE (4.6) and Gnome (2.6) flavors desktop environment 32 and 64 bits
  • BackTrack ARM base image that can do chroot Android enabled devices. (Hopefully released May 10)
  • 32 and 64 bit images "Forensic Mode", which starts an instance of audio forensics BackTrack and "invisible mode", which starts without generating network traffic.
  • All support for Backtrack 4 ending May 10, 2011 and April BackTrack is not available for download from our official mirrors from that date.
  • And yes, Metasploit 3.7.0 * * was packaged in BT5.

We are all hoping to achieve liberation and resurgence of our bunkers on 10 May ... Bring the revolution!

Quote:
For that we are launching 4 days 5 and backtrack left us with the pleasant surprise that will have version for ARM, in theory it is to put the device in a Adro, but ARM will be easily installable version on the N900.
